Trace Adkins
Trace Adkins is one of the most recognizable male voices in all of country music. Other than just being a country singer, over the past decade Adkins has been an actor, author, voiceover artist, a social commentator, and a reality show participant. His most recent album, "Cowboy's Back In Town", was released this August. While he may seem like a tough guy on the outside, his songs can range from tender and sweet to rowdy and rough. His new album, "Cowboy's Back In Town", leans more to the rowdy and rough side of things. Adkins has a way of bringing believability into all of the songs he sings. He has won several awards for all the years he has spent as a singer such as, Grammys, ACM awards, and CMT awards.

I can't wait to see Trace Adkins at the Chili Cook Off this year! I love his new CD as well. My favorite song on it is "Brown Chicken Brown Cow." It's always stuck in my head!
ReplyDeleteI had never really heard too much about Trace Adkins until his appearance on "The Celebrity Apprentice". I guess it goes to show you how mush a reality TV show can help a persons career. But I'm sure that Adkins was quite famous beforehand, however, not for me. He has a very different voice as well compared to most country singers. It seems to be very low and more so as if he is talking when he is singing, rather than actually singing. However, I can still see why he can be so likable by the majority of country fans. But for me, I'll just stick with good old Toby Keith and Brad Paisley. Nice Review! Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteTrace Adkins is a true person. Over the years he has received so much fame but let none of it go to his head. A very humble arsist indeed. I like his mellow style of country and I believe he is a true representation of a deep country voice that always tells a story.
